Detailed programme of the mobility period:

The programme:

DAY 1: Specifics of the current problems related to vulnerable groups-migrants and refugees;
DAY 2: Stress and adaptation. Using social opportunities to fight discrimination- Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram;
DAY 3: Reasons for migration and refugee waves. Conflict zones and military action;
DAY 4: Methods and innovative techniques for dealing with trauma from migration and military action. Methods and techniques for increasing tolerance towards refugees and migrants;
DAY 5: Techniques for stimulating motivation for integration. Techniques for increasing initiative;
DAY 6: Methods and techniques for adaptation to the national psychology of the host country;
DAY 7: Techniques for stimulating critical thinking to combat discrimination;
DAY 8: Techniques for Improving socialization skills-innovative practices;
DAY 9: The acquisition of digital competencies in the fight against discrimination. Using the possibilities of the Internet in the fight against discrimination;
DAY 10: Application of the good European practices in the field of dealing with discrimination in the work of the specialists.

Each of the topics aimed to build on existing knowledge, skills and attitudes and to support future work and engagement with refugees and migrants, as well as anti-discrimination practices.

Competences acquired by the participants:

Achieving an effective fight against discrimination, developed social, civic and intercultural competencies, media literacy and critical thinking, as well as fighting segregation, racism, harassment and violence. Increased competencies, tolerance and relations with migrants and refugees. Strategic partnerships with specialists from other European countries, increased motivation and activity in order to develop critical thinking and learn innovative practices for the integration of refugees and migrants. They were on the following topics: socio-cultural integration, understanding folk psychology, critical thinking and combating discrimination, and using social networks to combat discrimination.

Acquisition of new and up-to-date knowledge about the motivation for migration and refugee status, implementation of new integrative techniques for the socialization of persons with refugee and/or migrant status. Increased personal and professional knowledge, skills and competencies, our experts are more effective in their work with vulnerable groups, with integration activities and anti-discrimination. Through international cooperation, we wanted to expand the dimension of our activity from the national to the European level and enrich our work with new and fresh good practices, methods, instruments, tools, ideas and ways of putting them into practice.
