DEVELOPING KEY SKILLS IN ADULTS FOR LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION

International Training Course Strengthening Adult Educators’ Capacity to Support Employability and Social InclusionWithin the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, three representatives of the Association of European Development participated in the international training course “Developing Key Skills in Adults for Labor Market Integration.”

The course focused on equipping adult educators, trainers and counsellors with innovative methods and practical tools to support adult learners in developing the skills needed for successful integration into the labor market. Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, unemployed adults, low-skilled learners and individuals facing barriers to employment.The training combined theoretical knowledge, practical workshops, peer-learning activities and international exchange of good practices, enabling participants to enhance their competences in career guidance, employability support and adult skills development.

Results Achieved

As a result of the mobility:

✔ Three adult education professionals successfully completed the training programme.

✔ Participants improved their knowledge of labor market integration strategies and employability support methodologies.

✔ New tools for career guidance, skills assessment and job readiness training were acquired.

✔ Innovative methods for teaching transversal and digital skills were tested and adapted for future educational activities.

✔ Participants strengthened their capacity to work with vulnerable and disadvantaged adult learners.

✔ New international partnerships and professional networks were established.

✔ Practical training materials, lesson plans and employability resources were developed for future use.

Impact on the Organisation

The knowledge and competences acquired during the training will contribute to:

  • Improving the quality of career guidance and employability support services;
  • Enhancing adult learners’ readiness for employment and lifelong learning;
  • Strengthening the organisation’s capacity to work with unemployed and vulnerable adults;
  • Supporting social inclusion and equal access to employment opportunities;
  • Integrating innovative learner-centred methodologies into adult education activities;

• Expanding the use of digital and career-oriented learning approaches
